Free-preview terms
Terms of Use
These terms govern access to CertLuna, an independent educational platform for networking theory and deterministic command-line practice. Operator and address information is available in the Legal Notice.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a CertLuna account during the free preview. By accessing the account area, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Free-preview status
CertLuna is currently a free, non-commercial preview. Access may be limited to approved accounts or offered as a free open beta. No payment is accepted, and no paid subscription or paid consumer contract can currently be concluded through CertLuna. Prices or plan descriptions displayed in development materials are non-binding planning information only.
Educational purpose
CertLuna content and simulations are provided for learning and practice. The simulations do not connect to real network devices, are not official examination material, and do not guarantee success in any certification exam.
Account responsibilities
You are responsible for using an account you are authorized to access and for protecting access to that account. You must provide accurate account information and promptly report suspected unauthorized access to certluna@gmail.com.
Acceptable use
You must not access another learner's records, bypass access controls, probe or exploit the service, execute system commands through the simulator, automate extraction of content, introduce malicious code, or interfere with the platform or other learners. Access may be suspended when reasonably necessary to protect the preview, its users, or its data.
Original content and permitted use
CertLuna protects its original question wording and selection, explanations, diagrams, interface design, software, deterministic simulations, and original database selection and arrangement. They may be used for personal learning through the service but may not be scraped, republished, resold, or redistributed without permission.
CertLuna does not claim ownership of general technical concepts, standard network commands, third-party trademarks, official specifications, or networking knowledge. Rights in third-party material remain with their respective owners.
Service availability and changes
Features may change while the preview is developed. Reasonable measures are taken to preserve learner data and service reliability, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Material changes to these terms will be presented before they take effect when required.
Corrections and educational limitations
CertLuna aims for technically accurate, original CCNA-scope material and complete explanations. Educational content may nevertheless contain errors or become outdated. High-impact operational decisions should be checked against authoritative vendor documentation.
Account inactivity and termination
You may stop using the service at any time and request account-data deletion. Under the adopted retention schedule, an account with no verified sign-in for 12 months is scheduled to receive an inactivity notice. If no sign-in or response occurs within the following 30 days, the account and associated learning data are scheduled for deletion, subject to records that must lawfully be retained. During the free preview this schedule is administered manually while automated enforcement is being prepared. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CertLuna is not responsible for indirect loss arising from reliance on preview content, temporary unavailability, or use outside its educational purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion is prohibited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot lawfully be limited, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or breach of an essential obligation to the extent its protection cannot be waived. Mandatory consumer, data-protection, and other non-waivable rights remain fully reserved.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Belgian law, without depriving a user of mandatory protection or jurisdiction available under applicable law.
Privacy and account requests
The Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Privacy Requests page explain how account and learning data are handled.
